I have been using the Transcender exam for transcendet CISSP and I find a lot of the questions difficult because they are either vague or overly technical. I can say that I agree with you regarding the complexity of the questions. I used both trancender and sybex testbanks. It can be difficult to stay focused for such a long time.

I plan to set for a bootcamp in August and take the test at the end of it so everything is fresh in my head after a week of doing nothing but Been doing groups of 50 questions. However, from everything I've read this is one of the closer exam engines at actually being able to 'simulate' the exam.
